About me

Hello! My name is Monica Roberts (AKA The ADD Coach)

I am a researcher and ADHD life coach from the bay area. I have my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Professional Writing from University of California, Davis. My emphasis is on developmental psychology and the ADHD brain.

Member of CHADD Chapter 138 https://chadd.org/

It wasn’t until my second semester of college that I was diagnosed with ADHD. Having been told nearly all my childhood that I was only a “daydreamer” and “procrastinator,” my self esteem and motivation to succeed was stunted.

During my early years of college I wasn’t just learning the material — I was learning how to learn.

Much of my research in ADHD is self motivated. When I was a student I had to create custom study guides and planners as well as build in specialized techniques just in order to help me catch up with my peers.

Even after college I strugged getting tasks completed and getting to work on time. My ADHD had long been disabling and I knew I needed to make a change. By combining coaching methods created by multiple board certified psychiatrists and implementing business models used for strategic planing, I deviced a way to tackle executive dysfunctions related to ADHD and be unique to each client.
